Yohji Yamamoto, born October 3rd in 1943, is a Japanese fashion designer based in Tokyo and Paris.
Considered a master tailor, he is known for his avant-garde style featuring Japanese design aesthetics.
He gave up a prospective legal career to assist his mother in her dressmaking business, from where he learned his tailoring skills.
Yohji Yamamoto further studied fashion design at Bunka Fashion College, getting a degree in 1969.
He then built a $100 million a year fashion company... winning many awards over the years.
The outside of this sleek vintage bag has a black velvet exterior with a black velvet handle and a snap closing.
The interior has a black canvas lining with two additional small open pockets inside.
