Rene Caovilla, born in 1938 is an Italian fashion designer offering a seamless blend of Venetian legacy and modern beauty.

Edoardo Caovilla along with his wife, the parents of Rene Caovilla, were high-end fashion designers that combined craftsmanship with couture.

In 1950, Rene went to Paris and London to study design.

He returned home and began working with his father, but in the early 1960s he took over the family business, met his wife Paola, and together they continued to make luxury fashion.

Beginning in the 1970s René worked with Valentino Garavani, in the 1980s he collaborated with Christian Dior and Chanel and in 2000 he worked alongside Karl Lagerfeld.

René Caovilla's work is known for opulent elegance, detail and high quality.

Among the numerous celebrities that have been seen wearing René Caovilla fashions are Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Kim Kardashian, and Rihanna.

The outside of this vintage sparkling beauty has a silver leather and rhinestone exterior, a rhinestone decorative fringe, a silver leather handle and a snap closing.

The interior has a gray silk lining with one additional open pocket inside.
