Maiyet, the label, was a pioneer of artisanal collaboration from Mongolia to India, from Peru to across Africa.
They worked in partnership with highly skilled individuals to co-develop products for the luxury market.
Paul van Zyl is the co-founder and CEO of Maiyet.
He served as the Executive Secretary of South Africa’s post-apartheid Truth and Reconciliation Commission for President Nelson Mandela and the chair of the commission Desmond Tutu. He also co-founded the International Centre for Transitional Justice, an organisation that works in over 40 countries that have endured massive human rights violations under repression conflict.
The outside of this vintage purse has a black leather exterior with a black leather handle and a magnetic closing.
The roomy interior has a gray suede lining with one additional zipper pocket and two additional open pockets inside.
